How long are therapy sessions usually?

The length of the session typically depends on the type of therapy. Individual and teen sessions usually last around 50 minutes, while couples therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes as well.

What is the usual process or structure of a therapy session?

In my sessions, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, feelings, and concerns. In the first session, we collaboratively establish personalized goals that address individual mental health issues or relationship challenges in couples. Throughout our work together, I draw on evidence-based approaches, such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Psychodynamic techniques, to help clients achieve their goals and enhance their overall well-being.

How much do therapy sessions typically cost?

Generally, the session prices are as follows:

  • Adult/Teen Sessions - $160 for an hour

  • Phone Consultation - Free for initial 15 minutes

  • Sliding scale is offered on a limited basis (contact for availability)
